This is to invite you to the 20th meeting of the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development (ISSBD) in Würzburg, Germany.
ISSBD was founded in 1969. Since 1971, ISSBD has had biennial meetings on four continents. It is a truly international organisation with more than 1.100 members in 60 countries. Its main objectives are to promote scientific research of human development throughout the life-span. The biennial conferences offer a forum for researchers and all those who want to learn more about studying human development.
As organisers of the 20th meeting in Würzburg, we would like to offer our hospitality to participants from all over the world. The programme will cover all research domains dealing with behavioural development.
Psychology has a long tradition at the University of Würzburg. The Department of Psychology was founded in 1896 and thus belongs to the oldest psychological institutions in the world.
My colleagues and I are very much looking forward to meeting you in Würzburg in the summer of 2008!
