The acceptance of publications in high ranking journals is an important ingredient for a successful scientific career. The Meet the Editor session aims at supplying researchers with first-hand information from invited editors about different journal profiles and successful publishing in developmental psychology and developmental science. The session intends to highlight the dos and don’ts of scientific publishing from the editor’s perspective, and to offer the audience to draw out the secrets of successful publishing from experienced editors. The session will be particularly fruitful for young scientists who are about to gain their first experience in scientific publishing.
